Hello all,

Could anyone tell us what the allowable vonMise stress, that can be tolerate
by either GaAs or InP laser chip is?  We have some guideline that is below
40 Mpa.  However, our current structure analysis show a stress of more than
60 Mpa.

Any lead to more accurate guideline or research paper regarding max vonMise
stress tolerable by those mentioned above laser dies are very much
appreciated.
