I am working on an advanced DoD air vehicle program and have the
opportunity to invest in a number of demonstrations of MEMS devices.  I
am soliciting ideas for demonstrations that will focus on providing
improved diagnostics for any air vehicle subsystem (e.g. fuel system or
hydraulic system).  Demonstrations of how MEMS devices can be used for
prognostics is also being solicited.  Recommended demonstrations should
describe the nature of the device; a summary of the device's
capabilities with respect to fault detection, fault isolation, or
prognostics; a description of the maturity of the device (degree of
testing performed, number of devices produced, etc); an estimate of the
cost to do the demonstration; and an estimated schedule to complete the
schedule.  Air vehicle assets may be available for use for the
demonstration of the MEMS device.

4th, 1997 although responses will be accepted immediately as I am trying
to scope the work to be done.  In your response, please provide a phone
