Solid sample handling in MEMS

Hi all,

I have a question about handling solid sample in small particle form
(1-3um). I want to transport this solid sample into a chamber
(2mm*2mm*200um) in a MEMS device. Does anyone have any idea of it? We all
now that microfluidic channels and chambers can transport liquid sample
very easily. But how about solid samples? Are there any "microsolidics"?
Does anyone see solid sample transportation in MEMS devices?

Thanks a lot for this forum and all the people here. I got a lot of help
from your replies.
