We expose our PDMS to UV Ozone for five minutes. Immediately afterwords we
press the PDMS to the coverslip. After letting it sit for 10 - 15 minutes,
the PDMS will be bonded to the coverslip. The UV ozone cleaner is a UVOC
cleaning system. I've heard that you can use a plasma cleaner too, but i
have never used one.

Subject: [mems-talk] PDMS gluing
Hi,
I made some channels in the PDMS and punched holes at the end of
channels. Glass slide was bond to PDMS and form the wall of the
channel.Plastic tubes (PEEK tubes)were inserted in the holes and fixed
by various epoxy ester.Solution was pumped into the channels and always
leaked. The glue cannot fast adhere to the PDMS.Can someone give me some
advice on gluing the PDMS and the tubes?
Thanks
Lei
