how to protect the sidewall of a trench which is 50 micron in depth

Dear all,

I have a trench which is about 50 microns in depth on a silicon
wafer, and need to do the wet etching. Before that, I need to protect
the sidewalls of the trench from being attacked by the TMAH. How can
I do that? It seems that the photo resist is not thick enough to
protect it.

Thanks for help.
