Arun Majumdar was interested in a polymer film he could deposit from
vapor. Parylene is a great material for this type of work. It is
inert and stable, and deposits uniformly at room temperature from the
vapor phase.

Several companies deposit the film as a service. Specialty Coating
Systems is probably the best known. The contact here in Massachusetts
is Hans Bok, 508-997-4136. He can direct you to someone in your area,
or you can do a web search.
