For those who are bothered by the abundent ISI mail, perhaps the WWW page
format is a more appropriate way to view the questions and issues sent to ISI.

The WWW page format allows one to select subjects they are interested in. This
requires the MEMS researcher to seek the information at the initial WWW page
and choose which leg, or web link, to follow. Because the subject is presented
in succession, a researcher may over look vital information. The time to travel
the "Web" may be more time consuming than deleting unwanted mail.

E-mail distribution of the ISI submissions is a format that reduces ones time
to seek information. The vital information is presented in parallel on the
terminal. One only needs to decide what to read and what not to read.

The e-mail format allows both senior researcher, graduate or even
undergraduate, to present their issues in complete view. A discussion takes
place in the boundless meeting space of the internet. When a statement is
presented, the interested members of the MEMS community are listening and
learning.
