Hi,

  We are trying to build some flip-chip schottky diodes using GaAs. We  grind
the wafer and saw the devices after testing. It was found that  some of these
devices have big voids in the epilayer causing device  malfunction. Can anyone
tell suggest why such a thing would happen? I  really appreciate your replies.
