Ash,

We have purchased very small (3/16 inch dia I believe)
NdFeB magnets from Edmund Scientific, 609-573-6250  which
are the most powerful magnets you can buy.  If you need
smaller just cut them up in a EDM machine - that works too.

 BTW what is your application - just interested.
