Most of us at the Berkeley Sensor & Actuator Center at U.C. Berkeley use KIC
for laying out our micromachined devices. KIC is very simple and therefore easy
to learn, use, and write accompanying software for. Students and others have
written programs to draw non-Manhatten geometries such as circles and rings,
and programs to convert to other needed formats such as postscript, Framemaker,
cif, and mann.
