I'm interested in using linotronic masks for binary optics. I notice that many
people on this group have discussed using these masks, but never talked about
photoreducing them, to the best of my knowledge. I was planning on using a
printer to generate the high resolution film image, and then photoreducing it
in a machine that Case Western Reserve has for ruby-lith by a factor of 10 to a
glass/chrome mask plate. Has anyone tried this? What are the limits? I'm hoping
to get to about 2-3 micron linewidths.
