Hi Lin,

Try to search "electroless plating" both in English and in Chinese. I
think you can get some information.

Pt could be used as a catalytic layer for nickel plating. The
catalytic layer doesn't have to be connected. You just deposit it
where to plate. Maybe you can try with a lift-off technique.
