Hello,
I am interested in finding out more about extremely small-scale pressure
transducers. I would like to use them to measure soil-pore-water pressures
on the laboratory scale. I'm not neccesarily interested in developing a new
transducer (although it is not out of the question); I would just like to
adapt an existing product for my application. I thought that exploring
medical-blood-pressure transducers would get me started in the right
direction. Any one have any leads on where I could get started looking? I
have looked into the Motorola line of pressure trandsducers but the
packaging (plastic die) will probably be too large for what I would like to
do. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I would also like to find a chemical sensor (specifically, to measure NaCl
concentrations). Again, extremely small-scale and durability are critical
issues. It would be ideal to find an integrated sensor that is capable of
measuring pressures and concentrations on the same chip. Thanks in advance.
