Forces in the mN range

Have a look at out home page ( address see below).
Since AFM's can hardly be applied to measure forces in
the micronewton range, we have developed our own
testers.
We use fiber optical intensity sensors in combination with
parallel leaf springs made of glass. Since we can calibrate
the leaf spring precisely, we can measure forces from mN
down to nN with the same machine.
