Clearinghouse Holiday Schedule
The MEMS Clearinghouse will be closed at 3pm, 22 Dec. 95 through 1 Jan. 96. All
messages received by the Clearinghouse during this time will be queued and then
processed on 2 Jan. 96.
UCLA Short Course on Rapid Prototyping:
"Rapid Prototyping: Technologies and Applications"
22-24 Jan. 96, UCLA Campus, Los Angeles, Calif.
Instructors: Mr. Jerome L. Johnson, J-TECH, Inc., Mr. Adam L. Cohen, Soligen,
Inc., Dr. Paul F. Jacobs, 3D Systems, Inc., and Mr. Sung Pak, Helisys, Inc.
This course presents a unified description of all rapid prototyping
technologies based on their fundamental principles. The organization and
descriptions are presented from the perspective of choosing a technology for a
specific market need or application. Such questions as what technologies are
capable of meeting the market needs and how will other technologies compete as
they are refined are addressed. Performance limits are described in terms of
the physical limits of materials, processes, or the transport of energy and
mass. For more information, please see:
