In this time I am writing my thesis "Electrostatic x-y-precision drive for
large ranges of motion". Actual fields of application e.g. are: x-y table for
microscopy, micro-dissecting, vibration table for small objects (mixing of
micrsamples). The electrostatic linear or planar actuator developed constitutes
a supplementary device to the conventional x-y-drives whenever it is necessary
to position very exactly objects of a low weight over a long distance of
displacement.

I am looking for discussion partner (company, university, institut) about
electrostatic actuators.
