Dear Mike Barton,

A variety of metals and alloys have been anodically bonded to Pyrex (Corning
#7740). I'm not familiar with all the details for alloy "39", but the
following are some of the materials you might consider for your application:
aluminium, titanium, tantalum, chromium, Kovar, Niromet 44 and Fe-Ni-Co
alloy.

Please feel to contact me if you have any questions on anodic bonding, as we
have some experience with this bonding technology.

Regards,
Andy Mirza

Subject: Anodic bonding of alloy "39" to 7740

We have tried, unsuccessfully, to anodicaly bond alloy "39" to
borosilicate (7740). Does anyone know what the basic process parameters
are? Should we try different alloys? Any help on this would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike Barton
