A farewell message from the moderator
Bill Athas

Dear MEMS Electronic Discussion Group,

It has been my pleasure and honor to have been the moderator for this
discussion group since its inception in February 1994. I had not
planned to stay on as the moderator for this long, but it has been an
activity that I have largely enjoyed. Of course, I have had to deal
with a few unsavory e-mail exchanges and complaints, but the
assumption put forth in the Guidelines of a "responsible readership
that will mostly be self-regulating," has indeed been the case from
my perspective. Thanks for making my job an easy one.

I am now moving on to another job that is outside of ISI (no, I am
not joining a start-up), and must relinquish this duty. The new
moderator is Dr. Peter Will, who is also the project leader for the
MEMS Clearinghouse.

Regards,

Bill Athas
