Dear all,
I am trying to get some cantilever beam of freestanding diamond and
diamond-like-carbon
films. I am trying to describe the design in words. The bulk film will
be attached/glued to a substrate whereas few beams of the film having
dimensions of
50 micron in width X 500 micron in length hanging out in one side and
there is no substrate beneath the film on that part. The angle between the
cross-section of the substrate and the film surface should be very sharp.
This is required to study couple of mechanical properties of a bulk film
by cantilever beam bending.

It would be wonderful if somebody could make couple of samples with our
films. Would you please let me know if you know any group/company that
does this type of micromachining.

Many thanks,
Sincerely yours,
Debdulal Roy
