I just recently subscribed to the list. I was thinking of unsubscribing
because there were no answers posted to the questions. The questions
are interesting and I am interested in the answers as well, but wasn't
seeing them!
Then you made the change. The list has become much more informative,
and though I don't have any specific questions at this time, I find it
an easy 5 minutes to read the digest version. I get all the responses,
and they are interesting. Undoubtedly several will respond to postings,
sometimes they are the same sometimes different. All in all, I am
learning from all the responses! Thanks to all of you!

It's an interesting idea, but would mean several readers would spend
their time responding to the same question, and if an answer is
incorrect, no one else would ever see it and be able to offer a
correction. That would also mean the community wouldn't learn who's
helpful and who's not.
I think the list participants will soon learn to check for other
responses before answering a query. To make this work, I'll have to
moderate individual messages quickly instead of approving a batch of
them once a day, but that shouldn't be a problem.
