HI, Sou Zou:
I am using L-Edit also. I know nothing about the command "SHRINK" and "GROW",
but there do have "SHRINK" and "GROW" functions by using menus. If you are
using L-Edit 8.23, see 'Setup' -> 'Layers...', select any layer and press
'derivation' tab, it can generate a layer which is a combination of "SHRINK"
and "GROW" of up to 3 pre-defined layers.
Unfortunately, the speed to generate a derivative layer is extremely slow if
your layout is not so simple.
Hope it be useful for you.

Subject: [mems-talk] SHRINK and GROW commands in L-Edit ?
Hi folks,
the manual book " Physical Design of CMOS Integrated Circuits Using L-EDIT "
of the L-EDIT software, mention (chap.9-p2) that there's two commands in that
program which allows to reduce " SHRINK " or raise " GROW " by a factor X the
size of any L-EDIT layout layer.
Does anyone knows where I can find such commands from the menu bar or
elsewhere and make the life easier for me ?
Thanks a lot,
SZ
