We have used the products from Artwork Conversion Software successfully for
several years. Below are some comments received when I asked the same
question several years ago.

I have tried to conversion the other way and ended up getting the
translation done by Artwork Conversion Software, Inc. They did a
reasonable job and they do have a DXF to GDSII 2 way translator among

Dear Colleagues,
We are trying to convert our autocad files into GDS-II format. The
autocad can convert the file to .DXF but not to GDS. Are you aware
of conversion programs (shareware or commercial) that work well?
