Conversion program for GDS2

Dear Members,
We recently tried to convert AutoCad's DXF output to GDS and CIF.
We used 2 softwares, LASI (a shareware software which can be downloaded
from SIMTEL) and DXFDOS.EXE (written by Justin Mansel and this one can
be downloaded from the archive of mems.isi.edu)
Using LASI we first converted DXF to TLC and then TLC to GDS. It takes a lot of
time and we realized that LASI does deform the geometry of the patterns (e.g.
our hexagonal features are translated to squares)
DXF-TLC-CIF convertion ended up with scale problems.
DXFDOS.EXE is really fast. Scaling was good. However we obtained a lot of
errors, which we cannot attribute to converter software or source file.
The address of a company which sells commercial software can be obtained from
former e-mails to the discussion list.
Best regards,
Murat Okyar
