For handling coated surfaces here, we either use spatula-ended tweezers
wrapped with PTFE pipe tape or PTFE-coated metal tweezers. From Fisher,
the former cost about #2 and the latter costs around #11. Ten meters of
PTFE tape cost about #11. A "poor-man's" solution, but it does the job.
