Dear LIGA and High Aspect Ratio MEMS/Microsystems enthusiasts:

As those of you who saw the last LIGANews know, I have taken responsibility for
the publication of the next year of LIGANews. The folks at IMM have done an
excellent job starting and incubating the newsletter and have left me a tough
path to follow.

I am hoping to have the next issue published in December (distributed in
January) and would like to include in it an updated "Activity Listing". This
would help to inform everyone of all the growth and change that LIGA and HARMST
have seen the past year.

In order to compile this information, I would appreciate it if every
organization that is involved in some aspect of LIGA or HARMST would please
send me (via email or fax) the following information:

1. Name of organization
2. Complete Address
3. Phone number(s)
4. Fax number(s)
5. Key contact(s)
6. A short summary of the work in LIGA or HARMST your organization is performing


As part of this activity, we would also like to generate a reference list of
publications and patents (US and Foreign) that have been generated in the past
year. If you would include a reference to any publications/patents, regardless
of publication language (if not English, please translate the title for me!), I
will include this in the issue.

If there is any other information you would like to see included in this issue,
please feel free to contact me and make suggestions. We want the newsletter to
be of use and value to the community, and to grow and evolve to continue
supporting your efforts.
