Jim: This is interesting! How did Mike get my name, I wonder? From the upcoming
SPIE conference?

In any case: we've done some work on building microscale antennas and solenoid
EMF sensors; preliminary work on this will be reported at the SPIE conference.
I would also refer you to Prof. Kris Pister at UCLA for EMF sensors. I will try
to remember to send you a copy of the EMF SPIE paper (I need to finish it; due
over a week ago! Ouch!)

In terms of quantum well structures (and EMF sensors, too), what did you have
in mind? I and my students have done QW work, but not with, yet, any true MEMS
content.
