Try ordering a sample from MWS Wire Industries (www.mwswire.com).  I know
they have copper flat wire but not sure about the nickel plate.  If they
don't have it plated it is easy to plate the copper flat wire yourself in a
small quantity.

Howdy,

Looking for flat wire to make contact with die pad.  Want it to be ~ 1mm
wide and maybe 50 micron thick.  Want it to be a nickel alloy or
copper-nickel....

Web search have found one or two suppliers overseas....all want huge orders

If all fails I will cut foil to make the interconnect.

Any comments?
