Dear all,

Has anyone experience with 100-500 nm thick thermal barrier coatings? I
am interested in using EB-pvd to deposit YSZ (yttria stabilised
zirconia) layers onto Si3N4 [for a mems application] and wondered if
anyone had any experience of this? Of particular interest would be any
data on strain tolerance of these films with thickness?
