Ariel,
An inert gas plasma clean will increase the surface area of the Silicon
making adhesion of the gold far better. I have taken the liberty of copying
this to my representative in Israel who may be able to get your sample treated
in local Israel companies that have some of my plasma cleaners. For more
information on the action of a plasma cleaner please contact either me or Hezi
Grossman directly. Bill Moffat

Subject: [mems-talk] adhesion prob.

Hi all.
I wonder whether there is a special method to increase adhesion of gold to
silicon, except of an adhesion layer. Talking about treatment to the substrate.
I'm using some organic materials, which nothing but gold would get stuck to.
Thanks,
