Greg,

Thermal-conductive pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape would help with
this application better than liquid adhesive or glue due to the following
advantages:
* Good control of thickness variation
* Tailored adhesion level to specific bonding substrate
* Minimum tension (liquid adhesives usually shrink and introduce
tension to substrate)
* Easy to use. Never messy. Bond instantly; easily conformable.
* Supplied in roll form, allowing higher manufacture efficiency than
using liquid adhesive.

In this case, you could use a double-face or transfer PSA tape to bond the
wafers. We have thermal-conductive PSA tapes, and also have heat release
technology where the adhesive loses its tack when heated. Contact me if you
need detailed information.

Mems Group,

I'm looking for a good thermal conductive glue that will bond two =
silicon wafers together - and be release after a few operation that =
require good thermal conductivity, vacuum compatible, temperature range =
between -20 to 125 C.

Thanks,

Greg Miller
